Program/Rotation/Description: This 2-year Graduate Nurse Program supports the transition into Mental Health Nursing within the forensic context. Graduates will have the opportunity to rotate throughout Forensicare, including at Thomas Embling Hospital, Prison Services (Ravenhall Correctional Centre, Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, Melbourne Assessment Prison) and community teams. Offering an extensive orientation period, graduates are supported by unit based CNEs, regular education days, and paid study leave, to assist in their development and growth as a Forensic Mental Health Nurse, while working towards postgraduate qualification.
