Bendigo Health – Nursing/Midwifery

Stream/Rotation/Description: The Graduate Registered Nurse/ Registered Midwife Program provides an opportunity for dual degree graduates to experience two six month rotations allowing for exposure and consolidation of clinical nursing and midwifery skills. Graduates will spend 6 months in Birth Suite and Women’s Ward, and 6 months in either Special Care Nursery or 5B (adult surgical unit). The program is well structured with paid study days, as well as support from within each department and also from our team of Clinical Support Nurses/Midwives and Clinical Nurse/Midwife Educators. On successful completion of the program, graduates are employed in an ongoing capacity within the organisation.
