Program/Rotation/Description: Graduate program rotations include Medical/ Surgical, Urgent Care, Aged Care and also time at our Horsham campus on the Medical/Surgical ward. 3 rotations throughout the 12-month program.
We offer a Graduate Transition Program – Registered Nurse which develops confidence, clinical competence, and skills in the varied role of a registered nurse. A wide range of clinical areas are on offer for you to work in during your transition year, which provide diverse clinical experiences.
You will:
Broaden your skills with rotations across many dynamic and challenging patient care areas
Embrace nursing research and learn through evidence-based practice, teamwork, and openness
Experience high-level clinical support from dedicated clinical support nurses
Work in an environment that values teaching and learning
The program includes a 4-day orientation study block and 6 professional development days throughout the year. Graduates will have 4 days of supernumerary time in each clinical area and regular debrief sessions
