Program/Rotation/Description: The Collaborative Graduate Nurse Program is a supported transition year designed to build confidence, competence, and professional growth through a comprehensive orientation period, dedicated study days, and supernumerary time at the beginning of each placement. Graduates receive strong, consistent support from a Graduate Nurse Educator, dedicated Ward Educators, Clinical Support Nurses, and experienced preceptors, ensuring learning is guided across all participating sites. This stream provides a unique opportunity to develop professionally across multiple partnered healthcare settings, combining experience in both public and private sectors as well as community-based care. Graduates rotate between Mildura Base Public Hospital, Mildura Health Private Hospital, and Sunraysia Community Health Services in structured collaborative placements that enhance adaptability, continuity of care skills, and exposure to varied models of nursing practice. Collaborative rotation structure includes: • Eight months at Mildura Health Private Hospital (ward and theatre) + four months at MBPH • OR six months at Mildura Health Private Hospital Day Oncology Unit + six months at MBPH • OR eight months at MBPH + four months at Sunraysia Community Health Services (District Nursing)
