Program/Rotation/Description: Our two-year comprehensive Graduate Mental Health Nurse Program offers the unique opportunity to work within Victoria’s first public youth mental health service, supporting young people and their families through meaningful and recovery-focused care. In your first year, you will build strong foundational skills working within our acute inpatient unit. In your second year, you will have the opportunity to rotate into one of our specialised community teams, broadening your experience across different areas of youth mental health care.
Graduates are supported every step of the way through dedicated clinical supervision, experienced preceptors, clinical educators, structured learning opportunities, and a highly supportive team environment. This program is designed to help you build confidence, develop specialist skills in youth mental health nursing, and make a genuine difference in the lives of young people and their families, careers and kin.
