Program/Rotation/Description: You will have an opportunity to build your nursing skills in our inpatient settings with rotations in Acute Mental Health, Specialist Eating Disorders and Neuropsychiatry and at our Community Care Unit. Rotations are generally 6 Months or 12 months. In addition, you will carry out 14 study days and carry out academic assignments that will allow you to earn academic credits with our partner institutions. In Year 2 you will study either a Postgraduate Diploma or a Masters In Mental Health Nursing with one of our partner universities. You will gain study days to help you balance out your studies and work. The combination of work-based training and academic teaching gives a well-rounded foundation for any nurse's career. In Year two your will also have the opportunity for rotations to our Emergency Mental Health team, Crisis Hub and Community Teams. In addition to this you will be linked in with our SEWB (Social and Emotional Wellbeing) team who provide First Nations care around the service. The team will assist you in cultural support, cultural immersion and provide guidance for candidates
